Welcome to the World of Foxx Trotter and the Realms of Fantasy. Feel free to roam wherever you so choose among my characters. All my posts on this site I've commissioned or adopted from other artists. I haven't drawn anything myself in well over 20 years, nor do I have the free time to do so. Thanks for stopping by! :0)

The Gypsy Witch
Prepare to be enchanted! What's your fantasy? ;0)

Although Rayén has her primary duties as a noble within a kingdom on her Renaissance based world, she does have a hobby on the side as a gypsy witch to help keep her informed on events during her travels to other worlds in the the Fantasy Realm. Besides botany, which is her most favorite interest, Rayén is also into astrology and divination as part of her magical abilities in enchantment. In her spare time, she does fortune telling at Renaissance fairs on other worlds. Rayén prefers to keep her life private for the most part, though, and doesn't associate with any gypsy caravans as she sometimes uses this potential gambit for undercover work. This includes the possibility of changing her form as well. Rayén doesn't always dress as a gypsy during her fortune telling, but being the occasional tease that she is, this mischievous vixen doesn't mind having some fun from time to time...even more so nowadays to a certain mate of hers. ^_^

While Rayén prefers to provide good fortunes to all of her customers, she will be honest and forthcoming in letting them know if anything within their futures show bad outcomes. She will offer the best solutions to remedy such probabilities so they can prosper. For the most part, her customers are quite appreciable...including making a number of wonderful friends along the way. Like anything in life, though, there are the sporadic bad apples. Rayén has ways of handling such things, being a sorceress first and foremost. Her tarot cards are enchanted, after all, and may provide more to a path in one's life than just a prediction.

As some may already know, tarot was originally played during the Renaissance period as a card game. They weren't actually used for divination until the Age of Enlightenment around 300 years later. Rayén loves playing card games as well, although not so much for gambling purposes. With that said, though, I'd be careful of playing cards against a mage regardless. They have such ways of gaining the upper hand on things. Foxx did beat Rayén in UNO a few times, but I'm sure she let him. She is well aware of the 'James Bond trick' he pulled on her a while back using tarot cards. What is revealed on such card pulls using enchanted cards can sometimes be based on the perceptions of the drawer...not always of the fortune teller. It wouldn't have really mattered in this case, as the two were already in love by that time. If Rayén gets into your head and temporarily alters your sense of reality, you're certainly in for a tease. ;0P

Rev and I do collect tarot card sets...more so for the admiration of artworks than for actual divination or game play. The game of tarot is not of major interest here in the United States as it is in Europe. There is an older tarot card deck called Gypsy Witch, which is why I labeled the title of this art piece as such. One of the best in the business of creating tarot cards is Ciro Marchetti, as we've purchased some decks from him directly. Feel free to check out his website here if you'd like. There are plenty of other vendors to choose from as well who have just as majestic and wondrous tarot card sets.

Yeppers...our favorite Aussie dingo, Toxi De Vyne, did this creative artwork as well. Special thanks to her as always. I like the otherworldly appearance of this piece. Trick-or-treat! :0)

The Steampunk
I put a certain lime green dingo back to work again. ;0P Actually...it's just another stream commission. This one is a flat color image of Foxx in vintage steampunk attire. I've always liked the movement and its fashions.

As always, special thanks to Toxi De Vyne for the creation of this artwork. I most certainly like the look. :0)

Lost In Rêverie...
It looks like that Rêverie found a nighttime cloud to lay on and make herself nice and cozy. As much as this attractive goddess provides pleasant dreams to others, she may already have someone in mind to be part of her own fantasies and passions.

Special thanks to Toxi De Vyne for creating this artwork. Quite a lovely piece, indeed. :0)

Rêverie Reference Sheet
Another character...another reference sheet. Rev and I both had ideas on this one, as well as on Rayén and Celestia. As with the majority of my characters, I'd like to keep things simple as much as I can. It makes things easier for the artist to work with.

This is Rêverie, daughter of Celestia and the late lunar god Mani. She is a striped marble fox, a mix of Arctic fox and red fox. Like her mother, Rêverie is a sky goddess one of many dreamscapers within the Fantasy Realm. She currently oversees a domain called the Land of Enchantment. Rêverie provides pleasant dreams to the people of Earth, a job she highly enjoys...maybe a little too much, as she hardly gives any free time to herself to fulfill her own dreams and passions. She especially has a soft spot for children.

While Rêverie has a number of friends within the Fantasy Realm, she prefers keeping to herself and her dreamscaping...possibly to hide her past or maybe even a second life. Like other dieties, Rêverie has the ability to change into different forms and also has a pure magic form showing her full potential of making dreams come true.

Note: Despite the color variation, Rêverie is not a kitsune. That doesn't mean she can't change into one. ;0P There are some kitsunes that have an influence in her life.

As always, special thanks to Toxi De Vyne for creating this artwork. We like how this came out. :0)

Rayén Swimsuit Pin-Up
Yes...an artwork of Rayén that is not Renaissance based. She is a mage after all and is able to travel between different time periods of fantasy worlds. But, as has been previously mentioned, things aren't always what they seem. She can be as much of a tease as her mate. ;0P

This is a flat color swimsuit pinup that Toxi De Vyne drew for me during an in-stream commission. I like the pose she used. Who knows...it could be a salute to the military. ^_^ The flower in her hair is a hibiscus which is native to the tropics. Overall, this creation came out quite nicely. :0)

Celestia In The Gardens
This is a traditional artwork of Celestia in the royal botanical gardens that Toxi De Vyne drew for me as a surprise birthday gift back in May. It took awhile for me to get a scanned copy because she's been quite busy, but I finally do and I'm posting the piece on my sites. A beautiful artwork if I do say so myself. :0) Toxi used Copic markers for the coloring.

Ravena Reference Sheet
I decided to adopt a kitsune character, and for a decent price at that. Due to her black hair, I named her "Ravena" (real name is Karasu, meaning raven in Japanese -- yes, after a different animal ;0P). She is a fire kitsune who works as a kingdom guardian. Ravena is as good with weapons as she is with her magic. Although a bit sassy and sometimes mischievous, she is quite benevolent to her companions. Ravena is married with two children.

The only addition I made was to add the name, species and occupation of the character. I also made the background a light gray so there wasn't so much white in the image. An NSFW version was also provided to me, but I'll keep that to myself. XP

Special thanks to Nazaki-Cain and RexyArt for the creation of this character. A beautiful looking kitsune. :0)

Autumn Bryes Reference Sheet
Another character I adopted from Northfelle, formerly PolarLights. I named her Autumn Bryes, primarily based on the theme and colors for the design. She is a school teacher and physicist...as well as a bit of a geek. Let's just say her life goes in a brand new direction after meeting a certain sorceress. ;0) I'll leave it at that.

All I added to this one is the name and species.

Once again, special thanks to Northfelle for the creation of this character. Another neat one. :0)

Jelena Headshot
Here is a head shot of a character I recently adopted from PolarLights, which she created for an auction that I won through autobuy. The name I gave her is 'Jelena', which is a Slavic variant of the Greek name Helen. With that said, though, the Slavic word "jelen" means deer in English. Therefore, I believe this name will fit nicely.

What obviously stands out with the character are her honeydew green colored eyes (as well as light pupils) and quartz crystals that grow on her antlers. PolarLights is currently working on the finishing touches of her reference sheet, so you'll see how the rest of this character looks within the next few weeks. I will provide more information about Jelena at that time.

Special thanks to OpalSun for this drawing, which was an additional bonus for the character adoption. Be sure to fave her posting of this image, too.

Also...thanks to PolarLights for the creation of this character. A very cute forest creature indeed. :0)

Jelena Reference Sheet
A finished reference sheet for the character I adopted from PolarLights back in February, which I named Jelena. The attire titles for the two additional chibis I added myself along with the character name header in order to finish out the details. It also includes the mood board that PolarLights used for the creation this character. For the most part, I kept the background information that was described about her the same.

Jelena is a nature spirit who lives reclusively deep in the Mystique Forest within the Land of Enchantment, a Renaissance based realm. She is an herbalist and healer who likes talking to the forest wildlife. Jelena has the ability to control the enchanted plants within the forest in order to deter those who may cause harm to her habitat. Although living alone, she does have a couple close friends outside of the forest who check in on her occasionally and provide her with anything not already at her hand. Jelena is generally soft spoken, but she can be quite the resourceful creature. She specializes in nature and environmental magic.

Like many deer, Jelena is tall in anthropomorphic form compared to other creatures in the forest and can look intimidating...especially with her very light eyes. She can make herself shorter, though, so her appearance isn't so daunting. Jelena can also change into a feral form to fit in with the other forest deer, but she doesn't use it too often.

There aren't too many outsiders who see Jelena, as she is very elusive. Those who have the lucky chance to be in her presence have felt an overwhelming sensation of energy. Jelena is quite a powerful creature.

OK...enough of my yapping. :0P

Once again, special thanks to PolarLights for the creation of this character. :0)

Rayén Vos Reference Sheet
A reference sheet for my character, Rayén Vos, mate of Foxx Trotter. While her species variation is a bit uncommon, being a red whitemark fox, let's just say that things aren't always what they seem...especially when magic is involved. ;0)

Special thanks to Toxi De Vyne for creating this reference sheet. I like the theme she used, based on my character preferences, and the overall look came out quite well. :0)

Note: A rust color can also be used for her tail, which would be a bit more natural of a red whitemark fox. Color variations on the tail, which is a mix of orange and black fur, can be as light as the orange on the body or as dark as a charcoal black like the arms and legs.

Celestia Reference Sheet
A reference sheet for my character, Celestia, overseer of the Fantasy Realm and mother of the dream goddess Rêverie. What obviously stands out with this snowy Arctic fox are her piercing sapphire blue eyes. Is Celestia a celestial goddess? Hmmm...maybe. She would prefer, though, using the term "mystic" in reference to her form. While Celestia's heritage is primarily of Nordic origin, including the general performance of Runic magic (although she knows other types of magic as well), she has a tendency of showing an appearance in both Nordic and Renaissance styles. Being unique with some characters, Celestia always speaks formally...in other words, without the use of contractions in her sentences. It could be due to her preference of pressing stern points toward others, especially as an overseer, or maybe it could be from the way she was raised long ago...whether by disciplined tone or through the use of magic. With that mentioned, Celestia usually keeps information regarding her distant past private. It is known that her husband died a long time ago.

Once again, special thanks to Toxi De Vyne for creating this reference sheet. A beautiful appearance of a lovely vixen. :0)

The Spring Enchantress (Framed Version)
A portrait of Lady Rayén Vos, a powerful white magic sorceress and the eventual mate to Foxx Trotter. Her primary focus is enchantment, but she can also perform a number of other types of magic as well. Be careful, though, as Rayén has ways of getting even (through being sneaky or mischievous) if you catch her undivided attention through teasing. Let's say that an occasional wisecrack like Foxx happens to be a quick learner, but with that mentioned, she doesn't mind him keeping her on her toes. ;0P Rayén is actually a Mapuche word meaning "flower", but it is also used by the Dutch. While not actually a Renaissance name, I believe we can make some exceptions in fantasy worlds. ;0) She is much into botany and the spring season. Rayén usually wears a blue iris in her hair, but she can also use a variety of flowers for formal events. She is a red whitemark fox, which is a variation of the red fox.

Once again, many thanks to Red-IzaK for the creation of my character. Still going off of ideas, she had a bit more to work with using some creation references I provided along with some of her own. A really beautiful artwork this turned out to be. :0)

Foxx Trotter Reference Sheet
A reference sheet for my character, Foxx Trotter. Nothing special about his appearance...just a standard red fox. He serves as an apprentice to his eventual mate, the sorceress Lady Rayén Vos. His primary focus is elemental magic. Foxx can be a bit of a wisecrack as previously mentioned, but he is quite loyal and very protective of his mate and friends.

Special thanks to Toxi De Vyne for creating this reference sheet. Another one of my characters set for upcoming adventures down the road.

The Noble Foxx (Framed Version)
A portrait of Foxx Trotter as a noble in a Renaissance setting. Don't let his good looks fool you, though. He could be more powerful than many may think (which you can see in the frame). ;0) Although...it's possible that I could be talking about his mate as well. ^_^

Many thanks to Red-IzaK for the creation of my character, especially with limited references to initially go by other than my ideas. This really came out quite well. :0)
