"Imagination may have no limits here, but it is my job to insure that everything stays in balance."
Character by Foxx Trotter and Rev Goupil. Artwork by Toxi De Vyne.
Celestia is a sky goddess and current overseer of the Fantasy Realm. She is mother of the dream goddess, Rêverie. What obviously stands out with this snowy Arctic fox are her piercing sapphire blue eyes. Is Celestia a celestial goddess? Hmmm...maybe. She would prefer, though, using the term "mystic" in reference to her form. While Celestia's heritage is primarily of Nordic origin, including the general performance of Runic magic (although she knows other types of magic as well), she has a tendency of showing an appearance in both Nordic and Renaissance styles.
Being unique with some characters, Celestia always speaks formally...in other words, without the use of contractions in her sentences. It could be due to her preference of pressing stern points toward others, especially as an overseer, or maybe it could be from the way she was raised long ago...whether by disciplined tone or through the use of magic. With that mentioned, Celestia usually keeps information regarding her distant past private. It is known that her husband died a long time ago. Despite her current position within the Fantasy Realm, Celestia still keeps in touch with a number of inhabitants in her old domain from time to time.
Any fan art of mine or Rev's characters is fine, but please keep it SFW. Thanks.

The primary magical focus is mysticism. As a goddess, Celestia does have the ability to shapeshift. She doesn't use it often and usually prefers a direct approach on things. At certain times, though, this vixen can be full of surprises.
As an overseer, Celestia does have cosmic abilities. The are a number of other magical attributes this clever fox possesses, but she won't discuss specifics. That would be telling. Let's just say it's much more than what her daughter and many other deities can do.
Celestia was born a mortal. She became a full goddess by spiritual transition. The position of Overseer of the Fantasy Realm is generally held by a natural born deity in good standing...or at least, that is what has been mentioned as being tradition. Despite being a transitioned goddess which usually doesn't meet the necessary qualifications, her formal wisdom and esteemed loyalty are attributes that were able to make Celestia an overseer. As they say...in a fantasy world, anything is possible.
Nordic Braided Icy Silver Hair
Celestia speaks with a Scandinavian accent, but she is also multilingual.
Pretty much anything that Celestia wears will be formal. Casual attire is very seldom.

Celestia is ambidextrous.
Celestia possesses a magical staff called the 'Draumstafir'. In realism, the term is one of many Icelandic staves (or sigils) for runic magic and grimoires. The staff is used for any creation, alteration or destruction through dreams and imagination within the Fantasy Realm. It is actually for her daughter, Rêverie, to be given to her when the time is right. Where the staff came from is a mystery.
Celestia also has seven grimoires which were provided to her by an 'old Norse mystic' a long time ago. She keeps the most powerful spellbook in her possession. The other six are kept by Lady Rayén Vos as she was using them as part of her magical studies during apprenticeship.
