Amy had been interested in dance ever since watching a production of Swan Lake on TV when she was very young, and since had become a very talented dancer herself. However, she turned her back on Ballet for a while after she found herself pushing herself way too hard- and nearly losing the people closest to her in the process. Since then, she's been getting herself back into the groove with belly dancing, and has been studying other forms as well.
Being a friend of Alice and Steve, Amy ended up meeting Anna when she and Alice move to London. A few months later, she was attacked by a feral werewolf during a full moon- and rescued by another one. Unknown to Amy at the time, the werewolf who saved her is actually Kelly, who just so happened to be having her first full moon. Amy ended up saving her from the feral, even killing it. However, as it died, it managed to wound her, thus turning her. After being filled in on all the details, Amy found out about Anna's desire to fight crime and decided to join her and the others.
