-Shapeshifting uses the energy stored within to change ones shape, appearance, features and qualities.
-Contrary to popular belief, shapeshifters can easily take on the features and qualities of any being and item, even those magical ones.
-Their only limit is the energy needed for the shift. Energy can be recharged by either resting and eating, or sapping it from energy sources, preferably magic ones.
-A shapeshifter is created by many ways, but it seems to be connected to one's sense of Identity. It is a sould/core thing rather than anything biological, thus shapeshifting is preserved even if the change comes from an outside source.
-A shapeshifter is always in control of their form, thus any curses, magic mishaps or any other outside forces cannot truly alter a shapeshifter, as they can simply overwrite or block the change.

-Alice's shapeshifting started during a stressful period of her life, where after breaking down, she realised that only she can shape who she is. With this newfound hope and mixed stress, something switched at her very core, opening her up to shapeshifting.
