Nována Zi Tonlu (more often than not going by simply "Nova") is a young adult vixen, a particularly hued one of a near extinct species of foxes. Her shy and introverted demeanor often belies her more outgoing side when around those she cares for the most. Having survived the near loss of her species, Nova does everything in her power to stay safe and comfortable in society alongside her younger twin brother Líro, working hard to improve her confidence and sociability and making friends along the way.

As a Verdi fox, Nova has a particular tolerance for significantly warm temperatures, and often basks in blazing climates where most others would stay indoors. The trade off is that it is easy for her to feel cold; room temperature is around where she starts feeling a little bit of discomfort.

Nova's blood is royal purple, and thus, her blush is purple.

Though the progress can be slow, Nova is dedicated to building confidence in herself, as well as to improving and maintaing her own health. She struggles to, but she puts in the effort to make new friends and does her best to be brave around them.

Nova is often indecisive, often self-deprecating and lacking in the ability to take control of situations. She also has a habit of misunderstanding things people are saying, whether verbally or conceptually, and can get annoyed or frustrated by this misunderstanding, as well as defensive in her own way when she feels she gotten it wrong. She is also afraid of getting something wrong, so much that she gets stuck into routines for fear of trying new things.

Her brown leather coat with fur trims and checker-patterned midsection and armbands is her most cherished item, as she'd gotten it directly from her father before losing him. She wears it very often.

Nova lives a fairly calm life, spending a healthy amount of her time at home when not at work. She generally spends her time relaxing, diligently getting whatever work she needs to finish done, or researching various topics of interest. Though she is perfectly content to be cozy and take things slowly, she can very easily become antsy and will want to go out and do something. She generally likes to be around others, even if she isn't talking to them, she does not like being by herself.

In my OC universe, Nova's best friend and business partner is Raeven Bennitt.

Her twin brother, Líro Zi Tonlu, who is 9 minutes younger than she is. He is her only living family.
